My family and I wanted to move back home to South Bend after leaving for a few years. We started looking at houses and we were recommended Christine from a mutual friend. Once we called her, we explained our situation that we were first time home buyers and were going to have to look remotely and gave her some of our must haves. The next day Christine was already sending us a lot of houses on the market that met our standards. Within a few days she was giving us virtual tours on a couple we liked (one being the house we'd eventually own) and answering all our questions. She was so informative and honest I knew we were in good hands. By the end of the week we put a bid on our home and we're lucky enough the sellers went with us. From there our relationship with Christine grew. She helped us every step of the way and as we got more stressed, she calmed us down. We asked her so many questions and she just answered them. Her knowledge and patience was everything. I couldn't have done it without her. We will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for homes.

She also patiently listened and provided ideas and resources in areas where I was uncertain and needed to "think out loud" about the process of preparing my home for sale and my plans for what was next in my life. Christine's kindness and professionalism made me look forward to our meetings and the otherwise very stressful process of preparing a 100 year old home for sale enjoyable. Despite a relatively last minute decision and needing to move quickly with changes in the market, I experienced way more ease than stress. I was confident in how we marketed and prepared the property, proceeded with responding to potential buyers, and ultimately negotiated and finalized the sale in a very timely fashion. Christine was always available, even when out of town. Her patience with a few anxious moments - giving me the space to work through my tendency to overthink - was evidence of her people skills and experience with all manner of clients. Christine knew the unique factors of the Near Northwest Neighborhood, as well as old homes generally, and utilized her network to support both preparing the home and bringing the perfect buyer to the table. The out of state buyers made an offer based on Christine's excellent and thorough video - mentioning at the walk-through that it was exactly what they expected based on the vidoeo! I cannot say enough good things about Christine Tioratta as a human being you can trust, and a business professional who will conaider your best interest in a way that in my experience is not to be expected of all realtors or their agencies.
