I am not certain if everyone is as picky as my wife and I are when selecting a realtor. We have moved several times and we have learned a lot about the various skill sets that benefit both buyer and seller. As a seller, my objective was to find someone that was responsive without being pushy. I was also looking for someone who was thoughtful and was a good listener. Working with Wayne Birkey was a pleasure. He listened to us as we outlined some of the key selling points of our unique home, as well as some of our strategic suggestions, which helped us to maximize the selling price and achieve a quick and tangle-free sale. He was incredibly responsive and kept us posted on each step of the transaction. His home building experience translated well with the sellers as he provided insight to some questions the buyer's realtor had. This saved time, energy, and reduced the stress for both buyer and seller. He addressed open items quickly and directly. As mentioned, Wayne sold our house quickly and we also received top-dollar for our property - every buyer's dream. He managed the sales process effectively and got results with qualified buyers in short order, maintaining a focus on serious buyers especially.
