We expressed interest in a house listed on Trulia and/or Zillow, and Wayne Birkey was the agent who contacted us and arranged for us to see the property. After seeing it, we decided not to pursue it, but from that initial contact Mr. Birkey became the agent who helped us. Mr. Birkey, a long-time builder, on several occasions explained to us matters that helped us evaluate the condition of properties. Since we had never before purchased a home, we were grateful for the explanations, advice and warnings that he gave us regarding the negotiation process, contracts, inspections, payments, etc. Mr. Birkey tried to understand our desires and needs and went out of his way to accommodate our particular situation. Without being pushy or intrusive, he offered helpful tips and gave us clear explanations as we checked out a series of homes. He replied promptly to the questions and concerns we communicated to him by phone or email. We found Mr. Birkey to be straightforward and honest and fair.

Wayne Birkey was very supportive to me as I was trying to find a home. Twice a week, he provided me with new listings on the market. Any time I wanted to view a home, he made arrangements for the same day. He pointed out problems he found in homes we viewed, to be sure I wasn't buying something that would be a problem for me later. He advised me on how to bid on homes, and made sure he protected me and my money. He listened to my concerns and questions on home purchasing. In the course of finding my home, he became almost like a part of my family. He has a great sense of humor, and I found him to be a very caring and compassionate man.
